  Rustic, quiet and beautiful scenery. They need to clean the construction debris from the parking lots better. We have stayed at least 6 times at this resort and really enjoy it here. The staff has been friendly and very nice. We look forward to staying here again. We would recommend this resort if you are looking for a quiet, off the beaten path place to relax.

  The location is very remote during the colder months and there are hardly any shops or places to eat that are open. It takes around an hour to get to Asheville, which is nice as there are more things to do there. Our room was a two bedroom and the master bedroom and bath, which were downstairs, were incredibly cold if the temperature went below 40.v we found instructions letting us know to keep the doors to the bedroom closed to prevent the heat downstairs from escaping upstairs, but we couldn't really tell a difference and it stayed uncomfortably cold until the temperature outside got a little warmer. There is also no 24-hour service desk to call in case you were to need anything, which we found odd because usually in resorts like this one, you can expect to have a front desk to call.
